LABELS Garments & Accessories (Pvt.) Ltd [“Labels”] and Barclays Bank Pakistan [“BBP”] have joined forces to promote the Pakistan retail fashion industry following the launch of Labels e-store. The partnership will make Pakistani fashion products more accessible to local and foreign customers, says a press release.
Barclays will provide electronic payment solutions to Labels, enabling clients to make purchases online, along with joint marketing programs and events.
Signing ceremony was held at Barclays Bank’s Head office in Karachi. Labels CEO Zahir Rahimtoola and Barclays CEO, Shazad Dada were present at the ceremony along with their respective teams.
Speaking at the occasion, Shazad Dada said, “Consumers no longer shop from one channel. It is important that retailers respond by implementing an effective multi-channel strategy, and by creating differentiated, customer-centric experiences. This joint marketing alliance with Labels demonstrates Barclays commitment to those who are niche enough to offer something different, unique and compelling to meet the ever changing customer behavior.”
