Kadhi Pakora

Ingredients:

For Kadhi

  • Yogurt = 250 gm
  • Gram flour = 6 sp
  • Glass of water = 6
  • oil = 3 sp
  • Turmeric powder= 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder =1tsp
  • fenugreek seeds =1/2tsp
  • A pinch of asafoetida or hing powder
  • curry leaves = 12
  • Salt to taste
  • Ginger-garlic-paste = 2sp
  • Mustard seeds= ¼ tsp
  • Cumin seeds =1sp
  • Coriander powder = ½ tsp
  • A pinch of Chat Masala
  • A pinch of kalonji seed

For Pakodas

  • gram flour = 1 cup
  • Onion (chopped nicely) = 1
  • Coriander = 1/4 bunch
  • Mint = ¼ bunch
  • curry leaves chopped finely = 2 tsp
  • ajwain seed = ¼ tsp
  • Green chilli chopped = 2
  • Baking soda= ½ tsp
  • Turmeric powder = ½ tea spoon
  • Red chilli powder = ½ tea spoon
  • Cooking oil =as required to fry pakodas
  • Salt to taste
  • Chaat Masla = ½ sp
  • Cutter Coriander seed = 1/2 tsp
  • Cutter Cumin Seed =1/2 tsp
  • Water to make batter

Method

Kadhi

  • Take blender and add yogurt , gram flour (beasan), turmeric powder, red chilli powder and blend well
  • Heat oil in a pan add ginger garlic paste anf fry 2 mints then add cumin seed, curry leaves, fenugreek seeds ,Mustard seeds , asafoetida powder and kalonji and fry 1 mint then add water and yogurt –gram flour mixture bring to boil and then turn heat down to medium and cook at least 4 to 5 hour
  • In the end Put the pakodas and cook 5 to 10 mints more now switch off the flame.

Pakodas

  • Add all Ingredients in Beasan (gram flour) expect onion , green chilli, mint, corainder bunch now add water and make a smooth paste now cover the bowl and keep a side for 3 hour.
  • Now add onion , green chilli, mint, corainder bunch.
  • Take a deep pan and fry oil in the pan. Now add pakora’s balls and put them in oil till they are golden.
  • Now add them to kadhi and let them soak in Kadhi.
