Ginger Chicken Chana

Ingredients:
  • Chicken (boneless) 1/2 kg
  • Kabli Chana 250 gms
  • Brown onion paste 3 tbsp
  • Tomato paste 2 tbsp
  • Fresh cream 2 tbsp
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Dhanya (bhuna) 1 tbsp
  • Cumin (bhuna) 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chilies powder 1 tsp
  • Ginger, garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Green chilies 6 only
  • Garam masala 1/2 tsp
  • Ginger (thinly cut) 1/2 tsp
  • Yogurt 1/2 cup

Method:

  • Heat oil and add butter to it.
  • When it is melted then add to it masala of ingredients as brown onion, bhuna dhanya, bhuna cumin, salt, red chilies and fry for 3-4 minutes.
  • Now to this add chicken, tomatoes paste and yogurt.
  • Cook for 10 minutes with lid on.
  • After 10 minutes add in this boiled chana, cream, ginger, green chilies and garam masala and keep on dum for 10 minutes.
  • When good odour comes out and oil floats on top then put off the flame and serve with naan.
