Pakistani Traffic police set example of honesty

ISLAMABAD – Setting a new standard of honesty, two officials of Islamabad Traffic Police on Friday returned the lost cash and other important documents to owner after finding it near Dhok Kala Khan.

According to a press note issued from office of SSP of Islamabad traffic police, Assistant Sub-Inspector Shafqat Ali and Head Constable Sabtain Haider found cash amounting to Rs 20,000 and other important documents. They informed the head of ITP immediately and started searching for owner.

They managed to trace the owner who was identified as Rafaqat Ali, resident of Murree, and handed the documents and money to him. SSP (Traffic) Dr Moeen Masood announced cash prize and commendation certificate for the cops.

A press note issued from the office of IGP Islamabad stated that IGP Islamabad Bani Amin Khan has also appreciated this performance of cops.
