LAHORE – In connection with the 56th death anniversary of Maulana Zafar Ali Khan, a function is being organised by Maulana Zafar All Khan Trust at his native village Karamabad adjacent Wazirabad today (Sunday).
Senator Pervaiz Rashid would be the chief guest and deputy speaker Punjab Assembly Rana Mashood Ahmad Khan is also expected to grace the occasion. Other notable speakers include Chairman Trust Khalid Mahmood, Mujeebur Rehman Shami, Jamil Athar, Orya Maqbool Jan, Sajjad Mir, Masood Ali Khan, Naveed Akram Cheema, Zahid Saleem Gondal, Abdul Hameed Sheikh, Asif Bhali, Rauf Tahir, Dr. Asif Hazarvi, Hafiz Mushtaq Ahmad Kokab, Shahid Ali Khan, Dr Ahsan Akhtar Naz, Adil Burki, Dr Shafiq Jalandhry and Raja Asad Ali Khan.
The CD comprising Naatia and Hamdia Kalam of Maulana Zafar Ali Khan orated by renowned singer and recipient of President pride of performance Adeel Burki would formally be launched by the chief guest. The function would be held at the newly constructed Mausoleum of late Baba-e-Sahafat.
NPT sitting: The Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust and the Pakistan Movement Workers Trust will jointly organise a sitting on 56th anniversary of Pakistan Movement leader and noted journalist Maulana Zafar Ali Khan at Aiwan-e-Karkunan Tehrik-e-Pakistan on Tuesday.
Former president Rafique Tarrar will preside over the event while TheNation Editor-in-Chief and NPT Chairman Majid Nizami, Vice Chairman Professor Dr Rafique Ahmed, Mujibur Rehman Shami, Jamil Athar, Prof Ataur Rehman, Dr Ajmal Niazi, Mian Habibullah and Raja Asad Ali Khan will speak on the the occasion.
Awareness: The students of Al-Fatah Model School Ferozepur Road on Saturday visited the Aiwan-i-Karkunan-i-Tehreek-i-Pakistan to attend Aghi programme of Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust (NPT). They also visited the Pakistan Movement Gallery on the occasion.
Also, mobile ideological units led by their coordinators visited Government Higher Secondary for Girls Burki, Hope High School, Government Girls Higher Secondary School Mori Gate, and Government K M Elementary School Mori Gate respectively. The institution heads presided over the ceremonies in the said institutions. In their lectures, they lauded the NPT’s role in disseminating the Two Nation Theory to the new generation.
