KUWAIT CITY, Feb 6: Assistant Undersecretary for Traffic Affairs in the Ministry of Interior Dr Mustapha Al-Zuabi says the sector will present a proposal that eases the conditions for obtaining driving license to the Deputy Premier, Minister of Interior and Defense Sheikh Ahmad Al-Hamoud, reports Al-Anba daily.
According to the proposal, licenses will be issued to holders of certificates that are above intermediate level, as well as those residing in the country for one year instead of two years the ministry had approved earlier. The penalty for plying passengers or driving vehicles with faulty brakes will be KD 100, Al-Zuabi indicated.
